Our involvement in pharmaceuticals began in 2004. Eridanus Healthcare was established in 2012, built on the years of ground experience that came before it. We began deliberately narrow, focusing entirely on neuropsychiatry rather than spreading across therapy areas from the outset. That decision shaped everything since — neuropsychiatry and CNS demand a level of prescriber engagement that general segments do not, and starting there meant learning to compete on formulation and consistency before scale. Eridanus Healthcare today operates a portfolio of over 400 products spanning neuropsychiatry and CNS, general medicine, orthopaedics and pain management, gastroenterology, cardiac care, nutraceuticals, syrups and injectables — all under a single umbrella, with new products added continuously as prescribing patterns evolve and new molecules enter the Indian market. We work with distribution associates across North, South, East and West India, and several distributors and prescribers who joined in the early years remain with us more than a decade later. Eridanus Healthcare does not manufacture in-house, and this is a deliberate structural choice. Rather than operating a single facility and fitting every product to its capability, we manufacture through established partners including Akums, Windlas and Alteus, selecting the plant appropriate to each dosage form and molecule. These are among the largest and most rigorously audited manufacturing operations in India, holding WHO-GMP and other applicable certifications — so a tablet, a syrup and an injectable in our range are each produced at a facility specialising in that format. Within our range are compositions and presentations not previously available in the Indian market in that form. Packaging is treated as part of the product rather than an afterthought, including moisture-barrier formats such as Alu-Alu where stability across Indian humidity matters. Pricing is set to remain viable for the distributor and affordable for the patient, because where treatment continues over months, a patient who cannot sustain the course does not complete it. We are expanding coverage further across India, developing an over-the-counter range alongside the prescription portfolio, and preparing for entry into international markets.
